We announced the signing of Noelle Maritz from Arsenal in January 2024.

The Switzerland international joined on a two-and-a-half year deal with the option of a further year as she became the side's first signing of the January transfer window.

Maritz joined having had previous spells with Zürich Frauen and VfL Wolfsburg before her move to England in 2020 where she went on to make 87 appearances for the Gunners.

The defender made 14 apperances during her maiden season as a Villan as she quickly settled into life in B6.

Maritz continued to show how important her versatility is to the team as she racked up 23 appearances across all competitions during the 24/25 campaign.

The 30-year-old reached a century of appearances in the WSL in the March of the 25/26 season as she continues to be an ever-present part in the side.

Maritz made her senior debut for Switzerland when she was only 17-years-old and has gone onto amass over 120 appearances as she has become one of the most recognised footballers for her nation.
