Lynn Wilms arrived at Aston Villa ahead of 25/26 season from VfL Wolfsburg where she had made over 100 appearances.

The defender has joined the German side from FC Twente where she had begun her professional career.

Wilms, who has UEFA Champions League experience, has been an ever-present figure in defence during her debut campaign as a Villan.

She enjoyed a dream life to start in the WSL, scoring her first goal from a direct free-kick in Villa's 2-0 victory away to West Ham United in October 2025.

Wilms went on to be named the club's Ocotber Player of the Month as well as being nominated for WSL Player of the Month and Goal of the Month award.
