Rio Hammond agreed scholarship terms with Aston Villa ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Hammond is a striker who has been at the academy since his Under-9 year.

He is a hard-working No.9 who makes effective runs, has a good eye for a goal and is difficult to play against, working hard at closing down defenders.
