Aston Villa Women will open their 2024/25 Barclays Women’s Super League season with a trip to reigning champions Chelsea.
New manager Robert de Pauw’s first competitive match in charge of the club will take place at Kingsmeadow on the weekend of September 21/22.
Chelsea claimed the WSL title on goal difference last season having finished level on points with Manchester City following a dramatic final day.
Villa’s first home match of the campaign will be against Tottenham Hotspur across the weekend of September 28/29.
The club announced last week that Villa Park will become the team's main stadium for the 2024/25 season – with all 11 of our home WSL fixtures played in B6.
Villa follow it up with a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion on October 5/6, before wrapping up their opening four matches with a home encounter against midlands neighbours Leicester City on October 12/13.
De Pauw’s side entertain top-flight newcomers Crystal Palace on November 16/17, and complete the year with a home clash against West Ham United on December 14/15 – the club’s final match before the break.
The Villans then resume matters in the new year away at Everton on January 18/19, prior to a home double-header against Manchester City and Chelsea.
Villa make their first WSL trip to the Eagles on March 15/16 before successive matches against Manchester United, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal as the season enter the home straight.
The club’s final away match of the campaign is a trip to West Ham on May 3/4, with Villa completing their season at home to Brighton on May 10/11.
