Carla Ward has bemoaned the complacency that set in during Aston Villa's 3-3 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Kirsty Hanson and Rachel Daly had put Villa into a seemingly commanding lead inside the opening 21 minutes at Brisbane Road before Eveliina Summanen pulled one back for the hosts.
Summanen doubled her tally less than a minute into the second half before Beth England fired Spurs into the lead.
Daly headed home late to salvage a point for Villa who will be disappointed to only take a point home.
But despite the way in which Villa fought their way to a draw, Ward was left disappointed.
“It wasn’t a classic, it was a game that lacked a lot of quality," admitted the boss.
"We’re disappointed because we don’t feel we gave a performance that we’re capable of.”

Ward was critical of her side's inability to be more ruthless in a game where they had their opponent on the backfoot early on.
“We let our foot off the gas and you can’t do that at this level, especially against a team who are fighting relegation," Ward said adamantly.
"We’re disappointed but the important thing now is that we raise it."
"There are four games to play and I know there are people saying there’s nothing to play for, but it’s about finishing the season by playing well.”
