Bio
Joe Gauci joined Aston Villa’s ranks from Adelaide United on Deadline Day in February 2024.
The goalkeeper completed a move from the A-League side after playing over 75 games for his hometown team.
Gauci’s form at club level earned him international recognition with Australia, and he won his first cap in March 2023 when he played in a friendly against Ecuador.
The Australia international 'keeper made his first-team debut for Villa in a 2-1 Carabao Cup victory over Wycombe Wanderers in September 2024.
Gauci duly joined League One side Barnsley on loan in January on a deal until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
