Morgan Rogers has been nominated for the Premier League’s Young Player of the Season award.
The Aston Villa and England attacking midfielder has been recognised for a superb campaign in claret and blue – his first full season for the club in the top flight.
Rogers, 22, has enjoyed 35 Premier League starts so far this term – the joint-highest of any Villa player.
During that time, he’s registered eight league goals and nine assists, a total of 17 goal contributions, while capturing the headlines for his surging runs from midfield and decisive impact in the final third.
Rogers’ eye-catching displays earned his first senior Three Lions call-up and debut in November and also saw him sign a new contract at the club.

Rogers has been shortlisted alongside Liam Delap (Ipswich Town), Anthony Elanga (Nottingham Forest), Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool), Dean Huijsen (AFC Bournemouth), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Joao Pedro (Brighton & Hove Albion) and William Saliba (Arsenal).
The public vote for the Premier League’s Young Player of the Season award is open now and closes at 12noon on Monday, May 19 - cast your vote here.
Congratulations and good luck, Morgan!
