Premier League football at Villa Park is less than seven weeks away from returning, with excitement again high among the Aston Villa faithful.
And, with the deadline to renew your season ticket for 2025/26 looming, the time to ensure you're back in B6 cheering on Unai Emery's charges again next season is now.
From newly-promoted sides to the unrivalled atmosphere at Villa's iconic home, there is so much to look forward to over the course of the 19 fixtures VP will again host throughout the coming campaign.
With just five days left to secure your seat for 2025/26, here are five reasons to make sure you renew your season ticket...
Our resplendent home

Villa Park again proved a majestic fortress for Emery’s men during 2024/25, delivering not only incredible sights, scenes and atmospheres, but a host of positive results for those in claret and blue along the way.
With just one Premier League defeat in B6 all season – coming way back in August against Arsenal – Villa are currently on a club-record 18-match unbeaten streak on home soil, and will be looking to stretch this far into the coming campaign.
And a strong end to 2023/24 at home means the Villans have suffered just two league defeats in their last 26 outings in front of the fantastic home supporters.
If the first two and a half years of Emery’s reign are to go by, you can hopefully expect both an enjoyable atmosphere and a positive result on your visit to VP.
The opening day

Unbelievably, for the first time since the 2010/11 season, Aston Villa will open a Premier League season in front of supporters at Villa Park, when entertaining Newcastle United on Saturday August 16.
The last time the Villans were at home on the opening day in the top flight was behind closed doors in September 2020, beating Sheffield United 1-0, with the previous occasion they opened a Premier League term at home prior to that coming some 15 years ago.
And, with the Newcastle clash kicking off at the earlier time of 12.30pm, it will be only the second Premier League fixture of the season over the first weekend, after champions Liverpool kick off proceedings at home to Bournemouth on the Friday night.
A mouth-watering clash to begin the term, in front of fans at Villa Park in the top flight, 15 years in the making.
New opponents

Of the three new sides we will face next year, to have been promoted from the Championship, we faced only one of them in the 2023/24 campaign.
Burnley are back in the top flight having finished second to Leeds United, who will visit Villa Park again for the first time since January 2023, meaning it’ll be over three years since the last time we hosted them, by the time they travel south from Yorkshire in February 2026.
But the real headline maker as far as the promoted sides are concerned is play-off winners Sunderland, who will play in the Premier League for the first time since the 2016/17 campaign.
An eight-year absence from the top flight – with four seasons in the Championship and four in League One – has whet the appetite on Wearside for a long-awaited return, and their visit to Villa Park in April 2026 will be a first in the Premier League since August 2015.
The matchday experience

Both inside and outside the stadium bowl, Villa Park is growing, and is the only place to be in B6 every other weekend.
Supporters visiting last season will have got a taste for what is to come, with the all-new FanZone proving the perfect place to welcome the players and set the tone for a successful day.
But that’s not all. With the Warehouse nearing completion and the new-look Villa Store now open in time for the new season, the list of things to do in Villa Village before we even reach kick-off is growing and growing.
Add to that the marvellous pre-match shows and non-stop passion from the stands throughout the game, and you simply have to be here.
More memories to be made

Villa Park was the scene for a number of unforgettable occasions last season alone in the Premier League, with Unai Emery’s side boasting the fourth-best home record in the league based on points per game.
Memorable wins over Manchester City, Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and more will live long in the memory of many a Villan, who helped the noise levels reach staggering heights from the stands.
And it doesn’t stop there. The season opener against Newcastle will be followed by festive visits of Arsenal and Manchester United in December, before three home outings in January – including a first game of 2026 at home to Forest – and May meetings with Spurs and Liverpool.
There’s much to look forward to, and we’d love to have you here with us. Would you really want to miss it?
