The 2025/26 Premier League season promises to be another exciting one for Unai Emery's Aston Villa.
Following finishes of seventh, fourth and sixth over the past three campaigns, the squad will look to be competitive at the top of the table once more.

First Five

Villa will get their 2025/26 campaign underway at Villa Park on Saturday August 16, with an intriguing visit of Newcastle United at 12.30pm, live on TNT Sports.
From there, it’s a trip to Brentford’s Gtech Community stadium the following weekend, before a return to Villa Park to take on Crystal Palace before the September international break.
Once back from international duty, mid-September will deliver Villa’s first-ever visit to Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium, which will officially open ahead of the 2025/26 season.
And a week later, Emery’s men will take on their first game against one of the promoted clubs, making their first trip to the Stadium of Light since 2018 to take on Sunderland.
Festive fixtures

A typically busy festive period will begin five days before Christmas, when Manchester United visit B6 on Saturday, December 6.
Then, for the first time since 2009, Villa will not have a fixture on Boxing Day, instead visiting West London to take on Chelsea on Saturday, December 27.
The final outing of 2025 sees the Villans travel back down to the capital to take on Arsenal, on Tuesday, December 30, before opening up 2026 at Villa Park against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, January 3.
Final five

Heading into the final month of the season, Villa face a trip to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham on Saturday, April 25, before May begins with a visit of Tottenham Hotspur on the second day of the month.
A return to Turf Moor to take on newly-promoted Burnley will be Villa’s penultimate away game of the season on Saturday, May 9.
Villa Park hosts its final game of the campaign on Sunday, May 17, as reigning champions Liverpool visit B6, before a trip to the Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City will conclude the campaign on Sunday, May 24.
Newcomers

2025/26 will see Burnley, Leeds United and Sunderland back in the top flight, with Villa only having to wait a little over a month from the start of the season to take on a newly-promoted side.
They will travel to Sunderland on Saturday, September 20, before hosting Burnley two weeks later in early October.
A trip to Elland Road to take on Leeds United will be Villa’s first game out of the November international break on Saturday, November 22, with the Whites visiting Villa Park on Saturday, February 21.
Emery’s charges host Sunderland on Saturday, April 18, before their penultimate away fixture of the season will see them travel to Turf Moor to clash with the Clarets on Saturday, May 9.
