Four Villans were in international action on Friday evening as they all helped their countries get their UEFA Women's Nations League campaigns underway.

Anna Patten played a full 90 for Ireland as she helped the side beat Turkey 1-0 at the Tallaght Stadium.

A first-half stoppage time goal was the difference for the Girls in Green as they started League B Group 2 with three points.

Chasity Grant was introduced as a first-half substitue for the Netherlands on Friday night as they drew 2-2 with Germany in League A Group 1.

The Oranje Leeuwinnen were leading 1-0 in the contest but soon found themselves trailling 2-1 but Grant floated a terrific cross into the box on the 66th minute to set up the equaliser and help secure a point for her side.

Noelle Maritz got 90 minutes under her belt for Switerzland as they faced Iceland at Letzigrund in Zürich in League A Group 2.

The defender helped the side to a clean sheet as they drew 0-0 to claim a point.

Kirsty Hanson featured for the full 90 on Scotland duty on Friday evening.

But the side fell to defeat at the hands of Austria as they opened League A Group 1 with a loss.

Adriana Leon also featured for Canada on Saturday evening as they faced Mexico in the 2025 Pinatar Cup.

Leon netted the side's second goal in their 2-0 win as she featured for the full 90 whilst Sabrina D'Angelo was an unused substitute.
