Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur played out an entertaining match in their Premier League 2 play-off on Monday.

After finishing 16th and first respectively in the league table, Villa were big underdogs to progress to the quarter-finals.

But they put up a great fight at the Lamex Stadium, taking the lead via Sil Swinkels and forcing extra-time via a Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba brace.

Spurs had the last laugh, though, when Will Lankshear netted the winner in the extra 30 minutes.
