Aston Villa travelled to the south coast to take on Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

A hard-fought first half ended goalless with little to choose between the sides.

Robin Olsen made a great save to deny João Pedro one-on-one, but there was nothing he could do late on when the striker pounced on the rebound after Villa's goalkeeper had saved his penalty.

One goal proved to be enough for the home team.
