Goodison Park is the destination for Aston Villa on Sunday as the club’s Premier League campaign continues.
Everton’s home ground has been the scene for some famous wins for the boys in claret and blue through the years.
Here we look back on five away day wins in the top flight against the Toffees…
Everton 1-2 Aston Villa, 1 May 2021
Current Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti was in Everton’s dugout as Villa ended a 13-year wait for a win at Goodison Park.
One of the final matches before fans were allowed back in stadiums saw Ollie Watkins sweep home the opener after 13 minutes.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin responded for the hosts soon after but Anwar El Ghazi curled in a beauty with ten minutes left to earn all three points.
Everton 2-3 Aston Villa, 7 December 2008
Despair turned to delight for the visitors thanks to Ashley Young’s injury-time winner on Merseyside.
Everton looked set to take a point after Joleon Lescott had equalised moments earlier, but Young skinned the defender and applied a thumping finish for his second of the game.
Earlier in the match, Steve Sidwell had opened the scoring with a rocket from the edge of the box before Lescott notched his first of the game.
Everton 0-1 Aston Villa, 5 November 2000
This uneventful game, played in torrential rain, was heading for a goalless draw before Paul Merson stepped up with a moment of magic.
A matter of seconds remained when the midfielder burst through a couple of tackles and saw the ball bounce up nicely in front of him.
The fact he was nigh on forty yards from goal made little difference as Merson sent a dipping half-volley flying over the head of Paul Gerrard as Villa scored with their only shot on target.
Everton 1-4 Aston Villa, 28 March 1998

John Gregory’s Villans were well worth this win after a strong performance at Goodison Park.
Julian Joachim’s bullet header put them in front before Mickaël Madar responded with a deflected shot that evaded Mark Bosnich.
Gary Charles hammered in Villa’s second just after the hour mark and a brace from Dwight Yorke topped off a fine victory.
Everton 0-1 Aston Villa, 31 August 1993

The club’s first Premier League win at Everton was secured by a single goal.
Guy Whittingham, who was making his full debut following his move from Portsmouth, provided the winning moment.
The striker poked home after 32 minutes to win the match.
