Dan Turner is in contention for the Barclays WSL’s December Goal of the Month award.
The defender has been nominated for her outrageous opener against Manchester City at Joie Stadium before the winter break.
In the 7th minute of the league clash, Turner latched onto a Kenza Dali cross to fire an unstoppable volley beyond Khiara Keating and into the far corner with her right foot.

It continued another solid campaign for the 32-year-old, who has scored on two occasions this season after opening her Aston Villa account in November.
