Unai Emery made five changes for Aston Villa’s Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Emi Martínez, Lucas Digne, Boubacar Kamara, Nicolò Zaniolo and Ollie Watkins all returned to Villa’s starting line-up from the side who faced Everton in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
It meant Villa head coach Emery named the same XI who triumphed 1-0 at Chelsea last Sunday.
There was also a place among the substitutes for Jacob Ramsey, who passed a late fitness test, as Villa looked to make it 10 successive league wins at Villa Park.
