International football takes centre stage over the coming week or so, with several Aston Villa Women players linking up with their respective countries.

A number of Villans will be involved in UEFA Nations League, CONCACAF Women's Championship and friendly matches.

Netherlands

Daphne van Domselaar has been named in the Netherlands squad for games against Belgium and England, although the shot-stopper has been held out of training due to picking up a knock.

Oranje take on Belgium in their UEFA Women's Nations League opener on Friday, September 22 (ko 7.30pm) before taking on England on Tuesday, September 26 (ko 7pm).

England

Lucy Staniforth, Jordan Nobbs, Rachel Daly and Lucy Parker have all been called up by England for a pair of Nations League fixtures.

The Lionesses head face Scotland on Friday, September 22 (ko 7.45pm) before travelling to play the Netherlands on Tuesday, September 26 (ko 7pm).

Scotland

Rachel Corsie and Kirsty Hanson are in Scotland's latest squad as they begin their Nations League campaign.

Scotland play England on Friday, September 22 (ko 7.45pm) and Belgium on Tuesday, September 26 (ko 7.45pm).

Alisha Lehmann has once again been included in Switzerland's latest squad.

The forward will hope to feature in Nations League clashes against Italy on Friday, September 22 (ko 6.30pm) and Spain on Tuesday, September 26 (ko 8pm).

New Zealand

New Zealand have named Anna Leat in their squad for a pair of friendlies.

New Zealand face Chile on Saturday, September 23 (ko 11pm) before doing battle once more with their South American counterparts on Tuesday, September 26 (ko 3pm).

Northern Ireland

Simone Magill links up with Northern Ireland as they begin their Nations League campaign.

The forward has matches against Republic of Ireland on Saturday, September 22 (ko 1pm) and Albania on Tuesday, September 26 (ko 7pm) to look forward to.

Fresh from joining Aston Villa on a permanent transfer, Adriana Leon returns to the Canada squad.

They take on the Jamaica on Saturday, September 22 (ko 1am) and again on Wednesday, September 27 (ko 12am), with both games CONCACAF Women's Championship qualifiers.

Young Villans

Laura Blindkilde Brown and Freya Gregory have been called up by England's U23s for fixtures against Norway and Belgium, with Georgia Mullett in the England Under-19 squad for their matches against Denmark and Germany.
