Leon Bailey cut a delighted figure after Aston Villa’s emphatic 4-1 victory over West Ham United.
The Villa forward put the gloss on another impressive performance as he showed fancy footwork before netting a well-taken finish late on to seal all three points against the Hammers.
Bailey’s strike came after a double from Douglas Luiz and Ollie Watkins’ eighth goal of the season, with the Villans now unbeaten in five Premier League matches.
Reflecting on the triumph, Bailey told VillaTV: “Amazing, brilliant.
“As you can see, the atmosphere was so great and we can’t be more proud of the team and how we carried out the coach’s instruction.
“The team spirit with the group is brilliant.
“It’s an amazing feeling to get the three points and we move forward.”

The success, a first over West Ham since 2015, made it a stunning 11 consecutive league wins at Villa Park – a run stretching back to March.
It is the first time the club has recorded such a run since 1983, and Bailey admits the impressive sequence provides plenty of positivity in the dressing room and reward for their hard work.
But he knows Villa must remain focused and not get carried away as they look to continue their fine start to the season.
“It gives us a lot of confidence,” added Bailey.
“But, most importantly, we’ve really worked hard to be in this position.
“We just have to stay humble, stay focused and always take it one step at a time and game after game.”
