Bertrand Traoré found the net as Burkina Faso secured a 3-0 victory over Ethiopia in their World Cup qualifier on Tuesday afternoon.
The Aston Villa forward stepped off the bench as a half-time substitute with the encounter goalless in Morocco.
And Traoré duly converted a 78th-minute penalty to double the away side’s advantage on their way to all three points.
It comes after the Villa man also found the net in Friday’s 1-1 draw against Guinea-Bissau, leaving unbeaten Burkina Faso on four points from their opening two Group A matches in the quest for 2026 World Cup qualification.
Villa team-mate Boubacar Kamara was an unused substutute for France as they played out a 2-2 draw against Greece in their final Euro 2024 qualifier on Tuesday night.
Les Blues had already qualified for next summer's European Championship in Germany.
