Villa Park was a special place to be on Thursday as Aston Villa enjoyed another European night.

After the stadium came together to pay tribute to the late Charlie Aitken, the home team secured an important 2-1 win against AZ Alkmaar.

They had to do it the hard way after falling behind, but triumphed thanks to goals from Diego Carlos and Ollie Watkins.
