Aston Villa’s six-match unbeaten run came to an end as they suffered a 2-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest.

Goals at the start of either half from Ola Aina and Orel Mangala did the damage for The Reds as Villa fell to only their third Premier League loss of the season.

It was only Villa’s second defeat to Forest in their last 16 league meetings, and their first top-flight reverse at The City Ground since 1992.
