The final chapter of Aston Villa’s 2022/23 season was played out at Villa Park on Sunday.

Our famous home was rocking in the build-up to the game, with Jed Steer given a rousing send-off and club legend Olof Mellberg returning to his old stomping ground.

The action on the pitch lived up to the atmosphere inside the ground, with three goals scored in a thrilling first half.

No more goals arrived in the second half, ensuring Villa qualified for Europe for the first time since 2010.
