Alisha Lehmann says Villa Park feels like 'home', following Aston Villa Women's 5-0 demolition of Leicester City on Sunday.

Lehmann notched twice in B6 to contribute to the rampant victory against the Foxes.

Speaking after the game, the 24-year-old was glowing in her praise of the team's overall efforts in recent weeks.

“We won 5-0, it’s a good feeling for the team," beamed Lehmann.

"We haven’t lost in eight games, so it’s a big thing for the team and we stick together."

"I’m really happy, I love Villa Park. We’ve got really good support and that helped us win the game.”

Villa have won three of their four games at Villa Park this season, previously beating Manchester City and Reading.

That good form, coupled with some scintillating displays, has left Lehmann feeling proud of the support gained this season.

“It’s home here," she stated.

"It’s always really special to play in this big stadium. We have a lot of fans and they’re loud and they support us. It gives us strength.”
