Aston Villa Women can confirm Rachel Corsie is set for a spell on the sidelines.
The defender suffered a knee injury during our Vitality Women's FA Cup win over Manchester City and will have minor surgery in the coming days.
Rachel will be monitored by the club's medical staff in the hopes of returning to training as soon as possible.
