Álex Moreno says he has settled into life quickly at Aston Villa following his January arrival at the club.
The Spanish left-back joined Villa from Real Betis two months ago and has made seven appearances in claret and blue so far.
And the 29-year-old, who spoke to VillaTV in English for the first time, is loving life at the club, the fans and in the local area.
“I’m happy with my team-mates, I like the city, the fans, the supporters a lot,” he said.
“I am happy.”
He added: “I speak Spanish with my team-mates, for example Emi Martínez, Emi Buendía, Phil Coutinho, Douglas Luiz, Diego Carlos.
“And I speak English with my team-mates (as well), they help me.
“I want to learn, to improve my English.”
Moreno started the club’s 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace last time out as the Villans recorded back-to-back wins.
Unai Emery’s side head to West Ham United on Sunday striving to make it three, but Moreno is expecting a tough encounter against the Hammers.
“I am happy for the two victories, it’s very important,” he said.
“I’m confident but in the Premier League, every match is tough.
“We must work hard for the next match.”
