The 2022/23 season has come to a close but several members of the Aston Villa Women squad will be representing their countries over July and August.

The 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup begins in a matter of weeks, while other nations will be taking part in international friendlies.

Netherlands

Daphne van Domselaar will be hoping to add to her 13 Netherlands caps when the Oranje embark on their World Cup journey.

Our new shot-stopper played a key role during last summer's European Championships as the Netherlands progressed to the quarter-finals, and she will be wanting to feature this summer.

Netherlands will host Belgium in a warm-up friendly on Sunday, July 2 before facing Portugal, USA and Vietnam in Group E.

Scotland

Rachel Corsie is part of the Scotland squad who will take on Northern Ireland and Finland in July.

The Tartan Army face the Green and White Army on Friday, July 14 (ko 7.35pm) before going up against their Finnish counterparts on Tuesday, July 18 (ko 5pm).

England

Lucy Staniforth will be hoping to add to her 17 England caps when she joins up with the national team alongside Rachel Daly and Jordan Nobbs.

The midfielder has been called up from the standby list and will be in Sarina Wiegman's squad for the Lionesses' warm-up friendly against Portugal.

England play A Seleção on Saturday, July 1 before departing for the World Cup where they will face Haiti, Denmark and China.

Meanwhile, Daly will look to add to her 13 international goals and Nobbs to her 71 caps.

France

Kenza Dali has been named in Frances's squad for their World Cup campaign.

Les Bleus will complete a pre-tournament double-header against the Republic of Ireland and Australia before facing Jamaica, Brazil and Panama in Group F.

New Zealand

Anna Leat has been selected by New Zealand for their World Cup campaign.

They kick-off proceedings against Norway before taking on Philippines and Switzerland to complete their Group A schedule.

The Ford Football Ferns will also play Vietnam in a warm-up friendly on Monday, July 10.

Northern Ireland

Simone Magill has been named in Northern Ireland's squad for their double-header against Scotland and Czechia.

The Green and White Army travel to Dens Park in Dundee, Scotland on Friday, July 14 (ko 7.35pm) before facing Czechia in Opava on Tuesday, July 18 (ko 6.30pm).
