GALLERY: Villa victory at St Mary's

Ollie Watkins’ second-half header secured a 1-0 victory for Aston Villa over Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium.

The Villa striker nodded home his fifth goal of the season from Douglas Luiz’s free-kick in the 77^th minute to seal all three points on the south coast.

Victory clinched a first league double over Saints since 2004/05 and extended Villa’s unbeaten Premier League run to four matches.

Head coach Unai Emery has now registered three successive wins from his three away league matches in charge and claimed a total of 16 points from his seven matches at the helm.
