Álex Moreno will make his first start for Aston Villa in Saturday’s Premier League game against Southampton.
The full-back, who came on as a substitute in his maiden appearance for the club last time out, replaces the injured Lucas Digne in the starting XI.
Moreno is the only change to the team that beat Leeds United 2-1 eight days ago.
Matty Cash returns to the bench after missing the last outing through injury, while Jan Bednarek is ineligible to face his parent club.
Seb Revan and Viljami Sinisalo are also named among the substitutes.
