Ben Broggio came close to opening the scoring when he lashed an effort goalwards, but goalkeeper Luke Campbell was able to turn it behind.

Chelsea broke away from the resulting corner and Tyrique George raced onto a through ball before keeping his cool to beat Sam Proctor.

Both sides traded chances before the Blues scored their second after 35 minutes when Ato Ampah drove into the box before firing an effort into the roof of the net.

A third goal followed quickly three minutes later when Harrison Murray-Campbell allowed the ball to roll across his body before sending a shot beyond Proctor.

A run of three goals in five minutes was complete when Ampah cut inside and squirmed a low finish into the far corner.

Rory Wilson saw a shot well-saved shortly after the restart before Ampah bagged his hat-trick after 63 minutes.

The winger collected a ball over the top before lashing an effort past the Villa ‘keeper.

The home side clawed one back after 77 minutes when McDowell rose highest in the box to meet Charlie Pavey’s looped cross, heading the ball into the net.
