Aston Villa capped a superb week with a third successive victory as they triumphed 3-1 over Burnley at Turf Moor.

Matty Cash marked his 100th appearance for the club with a brace, finding the net twice inside the opening 20 minutes to put the Villans in control.

Lyle Foster gave the Clarets a lifeline at the start of the second half, but Moussa Diaby’s second Premier League goal of the season wrapped up all three points.

It ensured Unai Emery's side have scoring a superb 12 goals in three games following a 4-0 triumph over Everton last weekend and a 5-0 victory at Hibernian in midweek.
