Pau Torres was awarded his competitive full debut for Aston Villa in Sunday’s Premier League fixture against Everton.
The Spain international started Villa’s first home match of the season against the Toffees at Villa Park.
It was the sole change to Unai Emery’s starting XI from last weekend’s defeat at Newcastle United, with Tyrone Mings facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The Villa head coach otherwise kept an unchanged line-up, with fit-again duo Jhon Durán and Bertrand Traoré named among the substitutes.
