Aston Villa succumbed to defeat in Premier League 2 on Friday night as they went down 4-2 at Southampton.

Omari Kellyman bagged a first-half brace but Dominic Ballard’s hat-trick ensured Saints went into half-time with a 3-2 advantage.

The Young Lions pushed for a second-half equaliser to secure a share of the spoils, but the hosts grabbed a fourth late on to leave Villa empty handed.
