Álex Moreno left Villa Park a happy man after a scintillating performance from Aston Villa on Saturday.
The Spaniard continued his fine start to life as a Villan by terrorising Newcastle United from full-back, creating several chances before he assisted Ollie Watkins to make it 2-0.
The significance of a win against a side who are pushing for the top four was not lost on Moreno.

“Today, I’m very, very happy,” he said.
“We had a good team in front of us, Newcastle, and it was a very tough match.
“It was a good performance from the team and a very important three points.
“We have to continue in the next match to get a very important three points away from home.”
Moreno has quickly endeared himself to the Villa fans with his all-action displays down the left-hand side, and his jubilant reaction to all three goals was the latest example of how much the defender is enjoying his football.
