Ashley Young says confidence is high at Aston Villa after quickfire back-to-back away wins and full focus is now on extending that run at Villa Park this Saturday.
Villa are currently enjoying a six-match unbeaten run in the Premier League, which includes an impressive five victories.
Unai Emery’s side head into this weekend’s clash against Nottingham Forest following successive away wins at Chelsea and Leicester City in the space of four days after the international break.
The Villans have won the last two on home soil, a 3-0 triumph over AFC Bournemouth and a 1-0 success over Crystal Palace.
Young feels Villa have momentum behind them at the moment, and he is determined to continue that winning feeling in B6.

“It was something the manager eluded to, to us a few weeks ago,” the right-back told VillaTV.
“He was talking about picking up wins away from home, how important they are.
“Then we went through a spell where we weren’t winning at home either then, so we need to change it and make sure we’re winning away from home and winning at home as well.
“The fans at Villa Park, I’ve always said are like a 12th man, they’re fantastic. When they’re always behind us, it gives us that extra momentum for us to go forward.
“I’ve always said the team spirit here is fantastic, everyone wants to fight for each other.
“So, as long as we put all of that together, it’s just looking upwards now and looking forward to each game that’s coming up.”
Young added: “Now, we have to recover after the two games away on the road and be back at Villa Park on Saturday to hopefully get three points in front of our home fans.”
Villa and Forest played out a 1-1 draw when the two sides met at The City Ground in mid-October.
Young was on the scoresheet that day, finding the net with a sweet strike from 25 yards to ensure the spoils were shared.
The experienced pro knows Villa will face another tough test against The Reds this weekend, but he is focused on Villa’s strengths and is hoping to extend the club’s winning run.

“They’re coming on the back of a loss in midweek, so they’ll want to change that,” he said.
“The game when we played them away, I felt we should have gone on and got the three points.
“They sat in a low block then, we had chances, but we just weren’t able to get over the line.
“I think it’s going to be a totally different game. Like I say, we’re playing with a lot more confidence, everybody’s enjoying their football.
“It’s going to be another tough game, there’s never an easy game in the Premier League, it’s always going to be tough.
“We’ve got to be aware of their strengths, but we’ve just got to concentrate on ourselves.
“And, hopefully, come the end of Saturday we’ve got the three points.”
