Aston Villa could feel hard done by as they fell to a 2-0 defeat against Chelsea at Villa Park.

Blues goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga pulled off a string of superb saves in the first half, most notably from Danny Ings' close-range header and in pushing Jacob Ramsey's strike on to a post, while Leon Bailey also headed against the crossbar.

But it was Mason Mount who pounced to fire the visitors into an early sixth-minute lead before Chelsea's attacking midfielder converted a 65th-minute free-kick to double the deficit and inflict a tough defeat on the Villans.
