Aston Villa were in action against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Monday Night Football.

Emmanuel Dennis headed home the opener to give the hosts the lead after 15 minutes.

Villa fought back and were on level terms seven minutes later when Ashley Young struck a rocket from outside the box, watching on as his shot nestled in the bottom corner.

The visitors threw men forward in search of a winner as the game drew to a close, but it finished 1-1 in Nottingham.
