Tickets are now on general sale for Aston Villa's mid-season friendly against Villarreal.
The match at Villa Park will see head coach Unai Emery welcome his former club to the midlands on Thursday, December 15 (ko 8pm).
Villa's squad are in the midst of their preparations for a return to Premier League action as domestic matters pause for the World Cup in Qatar.
Villarreal won the Europa League in 2021 before reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League under Emery last season, and are currently ninth in La Liga.
Please note, not all stands at Villa Park will be open for this fixture so, due to anticipated demand, there was an initial opportunity for season ticket holders to buy tickets along with friends and family before tickets have been placed on general sale.

FAQs
- Tickets are available in the Trinity Road Stand middle and lower tiers and the Holte End lower tier. Further areas will open subject to demand.
- Seats are not reserved for season ticket holders.
- The family areas are C8, C9 and B7 in the Trinity Road Stand, with a ratio of three adults per one child
- The turnstiles at Villa Park will open approximately 90 minutes before kick-off
- Unless in the nominated visiting fans section, tickets are sold on the basis they are for home fans only. Supporters purchasing for away fans or those who do not adhere to AVFC ground regulations WILL lose the right to purchase tickets for future matches
- Visiting supporters will be located in blocks R6 and R7. If you are a Villarreal fan and wish to purchase tickets, please call the ticket office on 0333 323 1874
- Supporters are reminded to assign tickets to other attending supporters in order to build up booking history. This should be completed at the point of purchase as tickets CANNOT be re-assigned once the match has been played.
