Steven Gerrard has named an unchanged starting XI to face Crystal Palace at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon.

Following a valiant display in Tuesday’s 2-1 loss against Liverpool, the Aston Villa head coach has stuck with the same team.

Ollie Watkins has shaken off a knock to lead the line against the Eagles alongside Danny Ings.

Newly crowned Supporters’ Player of the Season Matty Cash lines up in defence alongside Tyrone Mings, Ezri Konsa and Lucas Digne.

Marvelous Nakamba will sit in front of the back four, with Douglas Luiz, John McGinn and Philippe Coutinho playing ahead of him.

Fresh from winning the Players’ Player and Young Player of the Season awards in midweek, Jacob Ramsey is on the bench following a two-game injury absence.
