Aston Villa fought hard against Liverpool at Villa Park on Tuesday night.

Douglas Luiz marked his 100^th Premier League appearance with the opening goal inside three minutes as the hosts made a lightning-fast start.

The Reds swiftly hit back when Joel Matip equalised in a breathless start to the game.

And despite Villa having a number of great chances, Liverpool took the win thanks to Sadio Mane’s header.
