'An Evening with Tyrone Mings' raised almost £10,000 for the Aston Villa Foundation on Monday night.
Almost 300 people were in attendance at the Villa Park event, which raised money to support young people across Birmingham via the club's official charity.
Hosted by broadcaster Michelle Owen, the event opened with Aston Villa Women players Rachel Corsie and Ruesha Littlejohn providing valuable insight into women’s football and sharing details of their careers in the game.
Villa captain Tyrone Mings then took to the stage, speaking for over an hour about his career for club and country, and sharing insight into some of the key moments before and during his time at Villa Park.
Raffles and silent auctions ran throughout the evening, offering attendees the opportunity to bid on shirts signed by a variety of Villa players including Philippe Coutinho, Emiliano Martínez and, of course, Mings himself.
The event was also live-streamed on VillaTV+, giving supporters who were unable to attend in person the opportunity watch from home, with the subscription costs being donated directly to the Foundation.
