Keinan Davis made his debut for Nottingham Forest as they pulled off an FA Cup giant-killing on Sunday.

The striker started and played 68 minutes as a late Lewis Grabban goal saw the Tricky Trees beat Arsenal 1-0 at the City Ground.

Davis and his new team can now look forward to hosting holders Leicester City in the Fourth Round.

Kaine Kesler Hayden, who returned to Aston Villa on Sunday, was also in FA Cup action, winning plaudits for his performance in his final game for Swindon Town on Friday night.

The full-back was part of a spirited display by the Robins, who lost 4-1 to Manchester City.

Conor Hourihane’s Sheffield United also lost out in the Third Round, going down 3-0 away to Wolves.

A double from Daniel Podence and one from Nelson Semedo ended the Blades’ interest in the competition, with Hourihane playing the full 90 minutes.

Two Villa loanees went head-to-head in League Two on Saturday, with Finn Azaz and Newport County hosting Tyreik Wright and Salford City.

Azaz had the misfortune of scoring an own-goal as City ran out 2-0 winners at Rodney Parade, with Wright coming off the bench after 70 minutes.

Strasbourg continued their strong season in Ligue 1, climbing to eighth with the help of Frederic Guilbert.

The full-back played the entire match as his side beat Metz 2-0 thanks to two second half goals.

Seb Revan (Grimsby Town), Akos Onodi (Bromsgrove Sporting), Lovre Kalinic (Hadjuk Split), Mungo Bridge (FC Annecy) and Wesley (Internacional) weren’t in action.
