Loan round-up: Archer and Davis meet as Barry bags a brace

Cameron Archer and Keinan Davis went head-to-head with their respective loan clubs in the Championship on Tuesday night.

Archer’s Preston North End played out a 0-0 draw with Davis’ Nottingham Forest at Deepdale, with both strikers starting the game.

In-form Archer, who has netted four times for the Lilywhites, missed the hosts’ biggest chance of the game just after the hour mark.

A point apiece leaves Preston in 12^th and Forest in ninth.

In League One, Kaine Kesler Hayden bagged his first goal for MK Dons as they beat Charlton Athletic 2-0 at The Valley.

The Dons took the lead shortly before half-time through Tennai Watson, with Hayden tapping home at the back post on 59 minutes to seal the win.
