Aston Villa can now confirm further details regarding this summer’s cancelled Foo Fighters music event at Villa Park.

Foo Fighters released the following statement on Tuesday, March 29.

“It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins. We're sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won't be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let's take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we've made together.

Those who purchased general admission tickets for the scheduled event at Villa Park on Monday, June 27 should contact the provider they purchased from.

A refund will be processed in full to those who purchased hospitality for the event and it will be processed to the original method of payment used at the time of purchase. We will contact you should we need to.
