Marvelous Nakamba stepped up his recovery from injury at Villa Park on Friday night, featuring for the Under-23s.

The midfielder made his first appearance since December in an entertaining Premier League 2 tie against Stoke City.

Nakamba left the pitch with the score at 2-1 before Villa conceded twice more as they came away empty-handed.
