Dean Smith has been nominated for the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award for September.
The Aston Villa head coach guided his side to a pair of impressive wins after beginning the month with a loss against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Everton were swept aside 3-0 at Villa Park before the Villans made headlines with a famous 1-0 success at Old Trafford versus Manchester United to end September on a high.
Smith is up against Arsenal's Mikel Arteta, Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp and Brighton’s Graham Potter for the award.
The winner will be announced on Friday, October 8 at 12pm, with supporters able to vote for Smith via the link below.
