Aston Villa suffered a second straight defeat in the Under-18 Premier League on Saturday as Tottenham Hotspur left Bodymoor Heath with all three points.

The game was just four minutes old when the visitors took the initiative through Jamie Donley’s header.

Spurs continued to create chances throughout the first half but were unable to add to their lead.

Their profligacy in front of goal allowed the hosts to pull level two minutes after the restart, with Dewain Sewell netting his seventh of the season.

Parity lasted only a matter of minutes before Donley struck again, finding space in the box before drilling into the far corner.

Sewell went close to grabbing his second as chances came and went at both ends before Spurs dealt the knockout blow.

Substitute Khalon Haysman raced through on goal and found the back of the net to secure the points for Tottenham with 13 minutes left.

Defeat leaves Villa in 11th place heading into a game against Southampton next week.
