Aston Villa’s Academy are holding an open training session for young goalkeepers in December.
‘Keepers who are currently in year 3, 4 or 5 at school (age groups under-8, -9 and -10) are invited to apply for a place.
The goalkeepers who attend will have the opportunity to be coached at the club’s Bodymoor Heath training ground by our Academy goalkeeping staff.
The session will take place on Friday, December 17 (times will be confirmed once you have registered).
We welcome applications from any footballers currently playing in goal for a grassroots football club and from those boys who do not currently play in goal for a club, and instead may be playing outfield or participate in another sport but wish to try out as a goalkeeper.
Players need to live within one hour of Bodymoor Heath (Bodymoor Heath Lane, Bodymoor Heath, North Warwickshire, B78 2BB).
