Dean Smith has named his starting XI for tonight’s Premier League game against Southampton at St Mary’s.

The Aston Villa head coach has opted to make three changes from last weekend’s loss against West Ham United.

One of those is enforced via Ezri Konsa’s suspension, with captain Tyrone Mings restored to the centre of defence.

The England defender partners the returning Axel Tuanzebe, with Anwar El Ghazi also named in the starting XI.

Jacob Ramsey is among the substitutes after overcoming an ankle injury sustained against West Ham.
