Aston Villa Women head into their penultimate fixture of the 2020/21 season on Sunday, as they face West Ham United at Villa Park.
The game comes just four days after Villa's previous outing, a heart-breaking 1-1 draw with Birmingham City.
As was the case last weekend versus Bristol City, Marcus Bignot's side entered stoppage time with the lead, only to be cruelly pegged back.
Veatriki Sarri curled home a free-kick from deep in the 96th minute to drag Villa back into the relegation battle, just as it looked as if they were pulling away.
The goal overshadowed what was a largely positive display which saw Freya Gregory grab her very first senior goal.
Now Villa must regroup, just as they did last weekend, and put all their effort into the visit of the Hammers to B6.

Sunday’s opponents come in the form of fellow strugglers, West Ham United.
The meeting at Villa Park, incidentally, comes just 12 days after the two sides’ first league encounter at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.
That match finished 0-0, which in turn has contributed to the Hammers’ run of four clean sheets in their last five games.
Olli Harder’s team last tasted defeat against a team outside of the top five over two months ago, meaning Villa will more than likely have their work cut out come Sunday afternoon.
West Ham's last outing came on Wednesday evening, as they fell to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal.
Form Guide
Here's how the two sides have fared going into Sunday's matchup...

Marcus Bignot
Interim manager Marcus Bignot spoke to VillaTV following Wednesday's derby draw...
“The girls have given everything. I really feel for them. The only negative at half-time is that it was only 1-0. I’m really disappointed for the players. They’re giving everything, and they’ve been so close twice. We could’ve been safe. It wasn’t to be. We’ve got to do it now at Villa Park. We go again. We’ll use this as fuel and as motivation.”

On Freya Gregory…
“Freya’s a credit to everyone at the Academy. We’re looking to develop our own. She can be pleased with her performance, as everyone can be.”
