Supporters could be heard from the stands at Villa Park for the first time in 15 months as Aston Villa hosted Chelsea in the final game of the 2020/21 season.
10,000 fans made a great noise before and during the game, raising the roof as Bertrand Traoré scored the opening goal just before half-time.
Anwar El Ghazi doubled the lead with a cooly taken penalty as Villa took full control shortly after the restart.
