One Stop Shopping donates £1,500 to Villa Kitchen.

Villa Kitchen is Aston Villa’s food initiative, providing hot meals to vulnerable people in Birmingham. Over 15,000 meals have been distributed across the city since the start of the pandemic.

One Stop’s donation will be used to help us support local school children during May half term, whose families are struggling as a result of the pandemic but who are not eligible for free school meals.

One Stop Shopping said, “We are delighted to be working with Aston Villa foundation to offer support that will benefit some of the most vulnerable children in our community. This pandemic has been devastating for so many people and we are honoured to be able to help give something back. We aim to do more work through our Villa foundation partnership in the coming months as well as partnering with more charities in the Perry Barr area.”

Jennifer Tullett, Neighbourhood Engagement Officer for the Aston Villa Foundation, said: “Aston Villa Foundation are really grateful to One Stop for their donation. Villa Kitchen is one of our flagship programmes and the donation will allow us to support even more young people over half term.”

The Foundation is looking forward to working with One Stop again over the summer.
